Rossi of Yamaha to ducati

Valentino Rossi finally reveal his future in the arena of MotoGP. After the race at Brno, Czech Republic, Sunday (8/15/2010), "The Doctor" was officially made an announcement that the end of this season he moved from Yamaha and Ducati started the season will be defended in 2011.

However, company president Gabriele del Torchio had a different view. According to him, Rossi moved into the Ducati because it has strong relationships with the general manager of the Italian manufacturer Filippo Preziosi.
"I believe that the main reason (Rossi's move to Ducati) was already established long relationship with Filippo Preziosi," said Del Torchio. "I believe this is the key factor. This is not about money."
"Of course it is my opinion that Valentino will be proud to race with the bike riding and Italy, but the most important role in this regard is the relationship with Filippo."
So far there has been no clarity when Rossi will make his debut for the Ducati MotoGP bike riding. However, del Torchio hope, Rossi, who throughout his career has become a world champion nine times, could participate in post-season testing, after the last race in Valencia in November.
"This decision is not in our hand, but we hope Yamaha off at the end of the year," said Del Torchio. "That is their decision, not our decision. One thing for sure is that we have removed Casey Stoner. He will be waived for the Honda motorhome after the last race in Valencia.
"Therefore, I hope they give something to us. We were still in talks, but no final decision."
Add Del Torchio, Ducati and Rossi had held talks for several months, but final agreement has just happened. "This is a long story. Of course we've made contact since a few months ago."
"Basically we decided to work together in July, but the new contract occurs in a few days ago," he said. "His decision not occur, and this is the reason why the announcement made in Brno."
If Rossi has certainly become the Ducati squad, has signed a contract for a duration of two years, then who will be his running mate for the upcoming season? Ducati hope, Nicky Hayden wants to be a tandem pebalap Italian added.
