Lorenzo-Spies Ideal Couple

Yamaha Racing relies on a new partner in the face of MotoGP races this season. Jorge Lorenzo with Ben Spies was the team champion duo of the tuning fork logo. This couple is believed to be the Yamaha camp as an ideal team.

As expressed by former World Superbike racer who is now a director of Yamaha, Massimo Meregalli. Himself very much enjoyed atmsosfer daam team with the change and a new pair of Yamaha.

Meregalli assess the inclusion of former world superbike champion Ben Spies 2009, replacing the position of Valentino Rossi is off to Ducati, is a brilliant decision. Spies could be a new flagship Yamaha, after Lorenzo.

"This is the best thing that happened to me. A great pride in the Yamaha. The atmosphere in a very good team and both drivers have so far been working well, "explained Meregalli as reported by the crash, on Tuesday (03/29/2011).

"I personally have known the figure of Jorge. And I was impressed with his ability as a racer. He was very professional and also very fast. I am also familiar with baiik Ben, and I believe in his abilities, "continued Meregalli.

In the series premiere at the Losail Qatar, Lorenzo became pematah domination Repsol Honda to finish in second position. While Spies is in sixth position behind Daniel Pedrosa, Andrea Dovizioso and Marco Simoncelli.
